Let’s shift from what you don’t want to do and start focusing on what you do want to do. Writing a resume, networking, looking for jobs will be a huge waste of time if you don’t.

Trust me on this.

But Ashley, I have no idea what I want to do.

Simply answer this question (revise as much as you like).

“I want to earn a living by _______________.”

Example:
“I want to earn a living by being a career coach.”
“I want to earn a living by working with children.”
“I want to earn a living by solving problems using technology.”

We’re not talking about job descriptions, or companies that are hiring, or salaries just yet. We’re just starting with what. How comes later. Of course, I got you!
